Wecome to SouthernHills.com. I have exciting news to share with you about Southern Hills Medical Center—the hospital closest to where you live and work.
It’s a new day at Southern Hills. We have undergone renovations and transformations inside and out. In addition to the facelifts to our campus, we have opened TriStar Medical Plaza in Brentwood, the TriStar Endoscopy Center and have begun construction on our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.
The Society of Chest Pain Centers has again designated Southern Hills Medical Center an accredited chest pain center. This recognition is but another chapter in Southern Hills’ long history of being a quality patient care leader in Nashville. Southern Hills was the first hospital in Middle Tennessee to provide community-based angioplasty and in 2003 was the first hospital in the mid-state to earn chest pain accreditation.
The staff and physicians at Southern Hills Medical Center are completely committed to providing the highest quality patient care in a friendly, compassionate setting. The hospital's dedicated Heart Center features two state-of-the-art catheterization labs and a nuclear camera dedicated exclusively to cardiac imaging. The Heart Center’s services include everything from stent placements and angioplasties to cardiac catheterizations. Orthopaedic surgeons at Southern Hills’ Joint Center use sophisticated, computerized technology for the most accurate placement of knee replacement joints. Our Imaging Department features a new high-definition MRI system that provides doctors at Southern Hills with highly detailed pictures of anatomy and pathology to help them evaluate a wide range of conditions, including stroke, musculoskeletal, heart disease, and cancers, including breast cancer.
